In plain words
"But the sixfold renunciation is the better one." Take that up: of these six kinds of letting go, the third is the hard one — it is won only at a cost. And by that third letting go, people cross straight through suffering in every form it takes, the sorrow that rises in body and mind and all the rest of it. Once that renunciation is actually done, everything is won.
Close to the Sanskrit
"But sixfold renunciation is better" — as to that: among these six kinds of renunciation, the third renunciation is hard to perform, accomplished only through hardship. By that third renunciation they do indeed cross over suffering, divided into the kinds beginning with the bodily-and-mental; and when that renunciation has been performed, everything would be won.
