निवृत्तेनैव दोषेण ‘क्रोधादयः’ इत्यादिना पूर्वोक्तदोषरहितः सन् तपोव्रतमिहाचरेत् ।एतत् धात्रा परमेश्वरेण कृतं वित्तं सत्यमेव सतां वरम् ॥
In plain words
Once the fault has actually stopped — once you are clear of the whole list given before, beginning with anger — then take up the vow of tapas, here, in this life. The Creator, who is the supreme Lord, set it up this way. This is the treasure that has been secured, and among all the good possess, truth alone stands highest.
Close to the Sanskrit
The fault having entirely ceased — being free of the faults stated earlier by the passage beginning 'anger and the rest' — one should practise the vow of austerity here. This was made by the Creator, that is, by the supreme Lord; it is the treasure secured; truth alone is the best of the good.
