। ॥ ४५९ ॥
In plain words
The self within is never born. It does not grow, it does not shrink by even a little, it never comes to an end. This ātman is eternal, unceasing, ancient. When the body is struck down, that cannot be struck down.
Close to the Sanskrit
The inward Self is not born at all, nor does it grow, nor is it diminished in any degree, nor does it come to destruction. This Self is eternal, everlasting, ancient; that one is not to be slain when the body is slain.
