। ॥ ४६१ ॥
In plain words
Onto this Self they lay the character of what is not the Self; onto what is not the Self, the character of the Self. Everything exactly the wrong way round — and having made that exchange, they go on circling through birth after birth, out of sheer bewilderment.
Close to the Sanskrit
Upon this Self, non-Selfhood; upon the non-Self, Selfhood again — having superimposed in this inverted manner, they revolve in saṃsāra out of delusion.
