In plain words

Dream's pleasures and pains prove false on waking, while the gross body's waking affairs prove false in deep sleep. Although both states are thus shown to be Mithyā—dependent appearances—the deluded person clings to them without cease. The real illuminator of both is present here; from where this appearance comes, we do not know.

Close to the Sanskrit

The pleasant or painful experiences of the dream state prove false in waking; the transactions involving the gross body in waking prove false in deep sleep. Thus, when the illusoriness of both is established, the deluded person constantly clings to them in both ways; yet while this real illuminator of both exists here, whence comes this illusion, we truly do not know.
