In plain words

Ātma—the Self—is consciousness, knowledge and bliss, known directly within as the ruler in every body. Yet the deluded mind still takes the transient body to be Ātma, even while knowing what one's own and every other body contains: bone, sinew, marrow, flesh, blood, grease, skin, fat, feces, urine and phlegm.

Although Ātma—the Self—is consciousness, knowledge and bliss, known through one's own experience and the inner ruler of every body, a person of deluded intellect repeatedly identifies the transient body as Ātma, even while fully knowing that one's own and others' bodies contain bone, sinew, marrow, flesh, blood, grease, skin, fat, feces, urine and phlegm.
