In plain words

Sunlight reflected through the moon, or gathered in a bronze bowl, clears the dense darkness of a house. In the same way the radiance of Parātma, the supreme Self, is reflected in Buddhi and streams through the gateways of sense, allowing forms and the other objects of experience to shine all around.

Close to the Sanskrit

Just as the sun's rays reflected in the moon, or concentrated in a bronze vessel, destroy the dense night-darkness inside a house, so in Buddhi, the discerning intellect, objects beginning with visible form shine ceaselessly through the openings of the senses, illumined everywhere by reflected rays of Parātma—the supreme Self.
