In plain words
In the mind-lake of great souls moves an ineffable pair of Haṃsa swans, feeding only on nectar from the blossoming lotus of Saṃvit, pure awareness. Their speech ripens the eighteen branches of learning, and from all that is flawed they draw out what is good, as swans are said to draw milk from water.
Close to the Sanskrit
I worship a certain pair of Haṃsa swans moving on the mind-lake of the great, delighting only in nectar from the opening lotus of Saṃvit—consciousness. From their conversation comes the full unfolding of eighteenfold learning; and they take every excellence from fault, just as milk is taken from water.
