। ॥ ५७ ॥
In plain words
O auspicious Śivā, bathe even me—far away and helpless—in your compassion, with your long glance that shines like a half-opened blue lotus. By blessing me thus, I will be fulfilled, and you lose nothing by it: just as the cool moonlight falls equally upon a deep forest and a king's palace.
Close to the Sanskrit
O Śivā, bathe me also, who am very distant and miserable, with your extremely long glance possessing the luster of a slightly bloomed blue lotus, out of compassion; by this, this person becomes fortunate, and there is no loss to you by this, just as the moon's fall of light is equal in a forest or in a mansion.
