। ॥ ९६ ॥

In plain words

Ever so many poets win Brahmā's wife — which of them does not? And who does not become the husband of the goddess Śrī, given money of some sort? But O Satī, first among faithful wives, apart from Mahādeva the touch of your breasts is out of reach — even for the kuravaka tree.

Close to the Sanskrit

How many, how many poets do not enjoy the wife of Vidhātṛ (Brahmā)? Or who does not become the husband of the goddess Śrī by means of riches of any kind? But, O Satī, not-last among chaste women, leaving Mahādeva aside, contact with your two breasts is hard to obtain even for the kuravaka tree.
