The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Śāradābhujaṃgaprayātāṣṭakam

Verse 5

In plain words

Utterly still, beautiful in form, her hair falling to the very corners of her eyes, her body slender as a bright climbing vine — and endless, and past all thinking. Hold her in mind: she stands right there, in the company of those who practise tapas. Her I worship without a break — Mother Śāradā, my own mother.

Close to the Sanskrit

Her who is utterly still, of beautiful body, whose hair-ends fall at the corners of her eyes, whose limbs are a shining fine creeper, endless, inconceivable; her whom one should remember, who abides present in the company of the ascetics — her, Mother Śāradā, my mother, I worship ceaselessly.
