Eight verses to Śāradā, goddess of learning, at her shrine on the Tuṅgabhadrā, in the bhujaṅgaprayāta metre: the gesture of knowledge in her hand, her glance wet with compassion. Each ends "I worship Mother Śāradā without cease."
