। ॥ १४ ॥
In plain words
Maheśa — I worship you, and still I do not know how to offer Stuti, praise; how to enter Dhyāna, meditation; or how to perform Arcā, ritual worship, as I should. So I hold on to your lotus foot: the foot that stood before Mṛkaṇḍu's trembling son and put out the life-breath of Yama to save him.
Close to the Sanskrit
O Maheśa, though worshipping, yet not knowing how to perform Stuti, praise, Dhyāna, meditation, and Arcā, ritual worship, as they should be performed, I take hold of your lotus foot — that which extinguished the life-breath of Yama, there in front of Mṛkaṇḍu's trembling son, in order to save him.
