In plain words

The great serpents coil at his ankles and serve as anklets, and from deep inside their spread hoods the priceless gems throw long shafts of light, until his shins are flushed the soft red of new leaves. The gods stand and sing to them. They carry a loveliness meant for you — two tall columns of crystal, white as a conch, white as the moon. Let the shanks of the trident-bearer stand vividly here, in your minds.

Close to the Sanskrit

Those two shanks — flushed to the colour of tender shoots by the radiance of the priceless, greatly elongated gems set deep within the ring of hoods of the host of foremost serpents that have become anklets; praised by the dwellers of heaven; bearing loveliness for you; shining like great rods of crystal; white as conch and moon — [may they abide] intensely here in your minds, the shanks of the trident-bearer.
