। ॥ २४ ॥
In plain words
Devala and the other knowers of Brahman stand ringed around them always, voices raised, praise after praise, offering armfuls of devotion — worship without a stain in it, and never a pause. And those two are the arched fore-parts of Śarva's feet: great tortoises, shining with clear light. Let them swim in the lake of your heart, day and night, at play.
Close to the Sanskrit
Constantly encompassed by Brahman-knowers such as Devala and the rest — who at all times and aloud render spotless homage with unstinting recited praises and with offerings of abundant devotion — and here perfectly worshipped: may those two, Śarva's excellent fore-feet, great tortoises of translucent radiance, sport ceaselessly in your heart as in a lake.
