। ॥ ३४ ॥
In plain words
What can we say about your nerve, Paśupati? Who else has courage like this, Śambhu? And this standing in your own Self — how would anyone else ever come by it? The gods drop away, the sages shake, the whole spread-out world goes under; and you watch the dissolution without fear, alone, thick with bliss, still playing.

What shall we say of your daring, O Paśupati? Whose is courage such as yours, O Śambhu? And this abiding in the Self — how is it obtained by others? Beholding the dissolution in which the host of gods falls away, the host of sages trembles, the whole manifold perishes, you — fearless, one alone, dense with bliss — sport.
