In plain words
Once the Lord of liberation takes his seat in the lotus-city of my mind — he who is honoured always, the crown-jewel among kings — my dharma stands on all four feet and is actually lived; my sin has gone to its ruin; craving, anger, pride and the rest of that crowd have simply drained away; the passing hours have turned into revealers of joy; and the great healing herb of knowledge-and-bliss has come to full fruit.
Close to the Sanskrit
When the Lord of kaivalya, ever to be honoured, the crest-ornament of kings, is seated in the city of the lotus of my mind: my dharma is four-footed and well practised; sin has gone to destruction; desire, anger, pride and the rest have melted away; the seasons are made revealers of joy; the great healing herb of knowledge-and-bliss has borne good fruit.
