। ॥ ४१ ॥
In plain words
O Conqueror of Death — to be let out from under the wreckage my sins have made, and to hold that shining wealth of yours: my tongue, my mind, my head, my feet, my hands, my eyes, my ears have all come to me asking. Let me praise. Let me meditate. Let me bow. Let me walk around you. Let me serve. Let me look. Let me listen. So give the order. Assign me the work, again and again, me and nobody else. Don't leave me without a word.
Close to the Sanskrit
For release from the calamity of sins, and for radiant lordship, O Conqueror of Death — in praising, meditating, bowing, circumambulating, worshipping, beholding and hearing — I am entreated by tongue, mind, head, feet, hands, eyes and ears. Command me; appoint me to that, again and again; me alone — do not be without a word to me.
