In plain words
To become steady at last, the mind holds fast to the Lord's lotus feet and remembers him without pause, the way a wife parted from her husband remembers — contemplating him, recalling him, beholding him, singing his name, entranced by all of it; and in the repeating of Śiva's mantra it finds that steadiness.
Close to the Sanskrit
In order to become steady, the intellect — clinging to the lotus feet of the Lord, always remembering like a wife parted from her husband, as if utterly entranced by true contemplation, remembrance, beholding, singing of praise and the rest — finds (it) through the repetition of the Śiva mantra.
