। ॥ २८ ॥

In plain words

May your two ear-ornaments, O conqueror of the mighty elephant, bring us welfare. Suspended from your earlobes, they blaze with the gathered radiance of lustrous gems, and their plainly seen feat is to drive back the spreading light of the rising sun. Like erasers, they wipe away the writing of birth and death inscribed on the foreheads of your gathered devotees.

Close to the Sanskrit

May the two ear-ornaments of Thine, the conqueror of the best of elephants, which are hanging from the lobes of Thy ears, which are exceedingly shining due to the coming together of precious gems of highly exquisite luster, whose clear heroic exploit is seen in dispelling the spread of the light of the rising sun, and which act as erasers of the destiny-writings of birth and death inscribed on the foreheads of the assemblies of devotees, be for our welfare.
