In plain words
The huge golden bells at the edge of his neck swing and peal, and the sound is terrifying; his bellowing goes out from his throat and never dulls — and between the two, every hollow inside the ring of the world is filled. Fierce, horns thrown up like raised staves, his hump swallowing the towering peak of Kailāsa. He is the mount of the Dark-throated One. May he, the everlasting lord of bulls, still our stain.
Close to the Sanskrit
He by whom the whole hollow within the circle of the world stands filled — filled with the terrifying peals of the great golden bells hanging at the edge of his neck, and with the unblunted bellowings of his throat as well; fierce, his horns upraised like lifted staves, the towering peak of Kailāsa swallowed by his hump; the mount of the One black in the throat — may he, the everlasting lord of bulls, quiet away our stain.
