In plain words

I am the ground where every principle runs out. The thought "I am the body" is simply not in me. Anyone sunk in tamas will not reach me. My heart is what the words That and thou disclose, once they are truly understood.

Close to the Sanskrit

I am the state beyond the principles; I am devoid of the notion 'I am the body'; I am hard to reach for one steeped in tamas; I am the one whose heart is to be known through the understanding of the words 'That' and 'thou'.
