The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Svātmaprakāśikā

Verse 46

मायातत्कार्यविलये नेश्वरत्वं च जीवता ।ततः शुद्धचिदेवाहं चिद्व्योमनिरुपाधितः ॥ ४३ ॥

In plain words

When māyā dissolves, and with it everything māyā made, being-the-Lord is gone and being-a-soul is gone. So what I am is pure consciousness — the open sky of awareness, with no adjunct left to condition it.

Close to the Sanskrit

When māyā and its effects dissolve, there is no lordship and no soul-hood; therefore I am pure consciousness alone, the sky of consciousness, from the absence of any limiting adjunct.
