। ॥ २६ ॥
In plain words
I set water at your feet, Mother, and water into your hands to welcome you. Taste the sweet madhuparka — honey and curds and ghee, poured in streams of nectar. Rinse your mouth with pure Ganges water; I have it ready here. And here is my prostration, all eight limbs on the ground at once. Beloved of Śiva, one glance from you and there is nothing left for me to want.
Close to the Sanskrit
I arrange water for the feet for you, at your two feet, and likewise arghya-water at your two hands. O Mother, taste the sweet madhuparka in nectarous streams. Perform the mouth-rinsing with pure Ganges water arranged by me. O beloved of the Lord, with your glance make [me] one whose purpose is accomplished — [accept] my prostration with all eight limbs.
