। ॥ ३६ ॥

In plain words

Limb by limb I wipe you dry with a clean cloth, until not a drop is left. I lift the long fall of your hair over the finest incense and let the smoke dry it and scent it through. Your companions have drawn the curtain and stand holding it — and now, O Goddess whose whole work is guarding those who love you, O wife of Maheśa, let the wet bathing garment, bright with its gems, be taken off.

Limb by limb I wipe you with a clean cloth; I perform the complete drying-off. I make the very long mass of your hair fumigated with the finest incenses. Having set in place a curtain arranged by the throng of your companions — O you who are wholly intent on protecting your devotees, O wife of Maheśa — let the gem-bright bathing garment be removed.
