। ॥ ४ ॥

In plain words

Jasmine, campaka, pāṭala — the whole garden is soaked in their scent. In the mango trees the cuckoos are calling, and the kuhū rising from their throats comes out as hrīṃ. The sandalwood grove has opened its fragrance. Bees flicker and dart until the garden itself trembles. It is a delight to look at. O mind — this is Nandana. Hold it, and hold it long.

Close to the Sanskrit

Saturated with the fragrance of flowers beginning with jasmine, campaka and pāṭala; having mango trees that break into delight at the kuhū-call of cuckoos in whose throats the sound hrīṃ resounds; having a grove of fragrant sandalwood whose scent has come forth; dear to the sight; tremulous with quivering, restless bees — O mind, contemplate the Nandana garden long.
