In plain words

In that ocean stands the island. Light pours off its nets of blazing gems in such torrents that the whole sky is lit up by it, curtained from one horizon to the other in bank after bank of rainbows. On the high peaks divine women sit in crowds, singing, and on the whole island not one deer moves — every one of them is standing still, listening. To that island we bow.

Close to the Sanskrit

In that [ocean], the island which makes the sky manifest by the streams of radiance flashing from its nets of brilliant gems — the sky covered on all sides with banks of rainbows — the island whose every deer stands motionless from listening to the song breaking forth from the faces of the throngs of divine women seated on its lofty peaks: to that island we make salutation.
