विशुद्धं शिवं शान्तमाद्यन्तशून्यंजगज्जीवनं ज्योतिरानन्दरूपम् ।अदिग्देशकालव्यवच्छेदनीयंत्रयी वक्ति यं वेद तस्मै नमस्ते ॥ २ ॥

Salutations to him who is utterly pure, auspicious, tranquil, untouched by beginning or end; the life-breath of the world, self-effulgent light, and the very embodiment of joy; boundless by space, direction, or time—he whom the Vedas proclaim and truly know.

Unto him who is perfectly pure, auspicious, peaceful, devoid of beginning and end, the life of the world, light, whose form is bliss, who cannot be bounded by quarter, place, or time, whom the threefold Veda declares and whom it knows, to him I bow.
