The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 208

In plain words

Live in that eternal heart, and you become gentle to look at, gentle to be near — the whole world feels it. A young sāla tree does the same: it never says a word about the sweet sap it has drawn up out of the earth and holds inside, yet its beauty alone tells you everything.

Close to the Sanskrit

And when he dwells in that eternal heart, a man becomes gentle in form for this world — just as the sāla sapling declares, by its loveliness alone, the exceedingly sweet earth-sap that is within itself.
