The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 227

ज्ञानतोऽज्ञानतो वापि वासुदेवस्य कीर्तनात् ।तत्सर्वं विलयं याति तोयस्थं लवणं यथा ॥

In plain words

Knowingly, or without knowing a thing about it — either way, when Vāsudeva's name is spoken, all of it dissolves, the way salt dropped in water disappears.

Close to the Sanskrit

Whether from knowing or from not knowing — even so — from the celebrating of Vāsudeva, all that goes to dissolution, just as salt placed in water.
