The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 285

In plain words

He presides over the worlds, presides over the gods, presides over dharma itself. He is what has been made, and he is what nothing made. His very self is fourfold, his manifestation a fourfold array — four tusks, four arms.

Close to the Sanskrit

Overseer of the worlds, overseer of the gods, overseer of dharma, the made and the unmade; he whose self is fourfold, whose array is fourfold, who is four-tusked, who is four-armed.
