The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 304

महेष्वासो महीभर्ता श्रीनिवासः सतां गतिः ।अनिरुद्धः सुरानन्दो गोविन्दो गोविदां पतिः ॥ ३३ ॥

In plain words

The great archer. The one who carries the earth. The house where Śrī lives, and the destination of everyone who lives by what is true. Nothing holds him back. He is the joy of the gods — Govinda, who finds the cows and the words, lord of all who know them.

Close to the Sanskrit

The great archer, the supporter of the earth, the abode of Śrī, the goal of the good; the unobstructed one, the bliss of the gods, Govinda, the lord of the knowers of the words.
