संसारसर्पसंदष्टनष्टचेष्ठैकभेषजम् ।कृष्णेति वैष्णवं मन्त्रं श्रुत्वा मुक्तो भवेन्नरः | |

Hearing and uttering the holy name of Kṛṣṇa—the sacred mantra of Viṣṇu—acts as the ultimate antidote for anyone paralyzed by the venomous bite of the world-serpent, freeing them into liberation.

Having heard the Vaiṣṇava mantra 'Kṛṣṇa'—which is the sole remedy for one whose vitality is destroyed, having been bitten by the serpent of saṃsāra—a person becomes liberated.
