सुधन्वा खण्डपरशुर्दारुणो द्रविणप्रदः ।दिवःस्पृक्सर्वदृग्व्यासो वाचस्पतिरयोनिजः ॥ ७४ ॥

He carries the perfect bow. He carries the axe that breaks whatever must be broken. He is terrible to meet on the wrong road. He gives wealth to those who turn to him. His form reaches up and touches the sky. He is the seer of everything — the one seeing that nothing escapes. He is Vyāsa, who divided the Veda so we could receive it. He is the lord of speech. And he was never carried in any womb.
