The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 468

त्मनि सर्वं जगत्तदात्मतया हूयन इति महाहविः ।महाऋतुरित्याइयो बहुव्रीहयो वा ॥

In plain words

Into the Self the whole world is poured as an offering, and poured in as nothing other than that Self — hence the name Great Oblation. Or the names from Great Sacrifice onward can be read as bahuvrīhis instead.

Close to the Sanskrit

In the Self the whole world, by way of identity with that Self, is offered as oblation — thus, Mahāhaviḥ, the Great Oblation. Or the names beginning with Mahākratuḥ, the Great Sacrifice, may be bahuvrīhi compounds.
