In plain words
Because He is totally free from all internal and external distinctions in ultimate reality, He is Eka, the One, confirming the Vedic declaration 'One only, without a second.' Because He assumes manifold forms through Māyā, He is Naika, as the text says: 'Indra appears in many forms through his illusions.' He is Adhvara and Sava because He is the divine essence extracted in sacrifice. The root 'ka' signifies bliss, and since He is praised by it, He is Ka, echoing the Upanishad: 'Brahman is bliss.' Because He is the ultimate goal of all human aspiration, Brahman is the supreme object of inquiry. He is designated by the relative pronoun 'Yat' because He is the self-existent reality from which all beings are born, as the Veda declares. He is 'Tat' because He pervades all, in accordance with the Bhagavadgītā verse stating that 'Om Tat Sat' is the threefold designation of Brahman. He is 'Padam' because spiritual aspirants attain Him as the supreme destination. He is 'Anuttamam' because nothing superior to Him exists. Because all worlds are sustained within Him, He is Lokabandhu, the universal kinsman who acts as the ultimate father and protector of all beings.

Because Brahman is indicated by the relative pronoun denoting a self-established entity, Brahman Yat, on the authority of the Shruti 'From which these beings are born'. Tat, because it pervades; from the Bhagavadgītā statement 'Om Tat Sat is declared to be the threefold designation of Brahman'. Padam, because it is attained and sought by seekers of liberation. Anuttamam, than which nothing higher exists. Thus qualified, one name Padamanuttamam. Because all worlds are bound in this foundational entity, Lokabandhu, the friend of worlds; or because there is no other relative comparable to a father due to being the creator of worlds, performing the duty of a kinsman for the welfare.
