The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 528

रविलोचनः, 'अग्निर्मूर्धा चक्षुषी चन्द्रसूर्यौ' इति श्रुतेः ॥

In plain words

Ravilocana: the one whose eye is the sun. This on the authority of śruti — "Fire is his head; his two eyes are the moon and the sun."

Close to the Sanskrit

Ravilocanaḥ — 'he whose eye is the sun' — because of the śruti: 'Fire is his head, his two eyes are the moon and the sun.'
