Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 537

अरौद्रः कुण्डली चक्री विक्रम्यूर्जितशासनः ।शब्दातिगः शब्दसहः शिशिरः शर्वरीकरः ॥ ११० ॥

In plain words

Never cruel. Earrings gleaming, discus turning, his stride crossing worlds, his word never overturned. No sound reaches him, yet he carries every sound there is. He is the coolness you fall into when the heat is unbearable, and he is the one who makes the night. (110)

Close to the Sanskrit

Not fierce; wearing earrings; holding the discus; of mighty stride; whose command is unbreakable. Beyond all sound; bearer of sound; cool; the maker of night. (110)
