The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 549

आधारनिलयोऽधाता पुष्पहासः प्रजागरः ।ऊर्ध्वगः सत्पथाचारः प्राणदः प्रणवः पणः ॥ ११५ ॥

In plain words

He is where the supports themselves rest, and nothing supports him. He opens into this world the way a flower opens. He is awake and never once falls asleep. He is above everything; his own walking is the good path; he hands out breath. He is Om. He is every exchange that ever passes between one thing and another.

Close to the Sanskrit

The abode of the supports; the one who has no upholder; the one whose laughter is the opening flower; the ever-wakeful. The upward-going one; the one whose conduct is the path of the true; the giver of breath; the praṇava; the transaction.
