अहोरात्रेक्षणो दिव्यो वेदाङ्गः श्रुतिभूषणः ।आज्यनासः स्रुवतुण्डः सामघोषस्वनो महान् ॥
In plain words
Day and night are his two eyes, and he is made of light. The Vedas are his limbs; the śruti is the jewellery he wears. The poured ghee is his nose, the sruva ladle his snout, the rising Sāma chant his voice. He is vast.
Close to the Sanskrit
Having day and night as his eyes, divine, having the Vedas as his limbs, having the śruti as his ornament; having the sacrificial ghee as his nose, the sruva-ladle as his snout, the resounding of the Sāma chant as his voice — great.
