य इदं शृणुयान् इत्यादिः स्पष्टार्थः ।परलोकप्राप्तस्यापि ययातिनहुपादिवद्शुभप्राप्त्यभावं सूचयितुम् अमुत्र इत्युक्तम् ॥
In plain words
'Whoever hears this...' and the lines that follow — the sense is plain, and needs no unpacking. But even a man who has reached the world beyond can still meet with harm there, as Yayāti and Nahuṣa and others did. To show that no such harm touches this one, the verse says amutra: there.

'Whoever should hear this' and what begins thus — its meaning is clear. In order to indicate the absence of any encounter with misfortune even for one who has reached the other world — as with Yayāti, Nahuṣa and the rest — the word 'amutra' (there) is said.
