। । ॥ १०९ ॥
In plain words
So the Self is bliss itself, forever - sorrow never touches it. Proof of this comes the moment we wake from deep, dreamless sleep, having tasted the Self's own bliss with no object in sight at all. Scripture says so, direct experience confirms it, tradition hands it down, and reason arrives at the same place.

Therefore the Self is ever-blissful; there is never any sorrow for it — since, in dreamless sleep, devoid of objects, the bliss of the Self is experienced. Scripture, direct perception, tradition, and inference [all attest to this] upon waking.
