। ॥ १९८ ॥
In plain words
This sense of being a separate individual comes only from confusing yourself with the intellect. Your real Self — the witness, free of qualities, free of action, nothing but awareness and bliss turned inward — never actually becomes a jīva. Once the confusion clears, that individual self isn't there at all; it was never a real thing to begin with.
Close to the Sanskrit
The jīva-state, obtained through delusion via the intellect, superimposed upon one's own Self — the witness, attributeless, actionless, whose nature is inward consciousness and bliss — is not real. When delusion departs, it does not exist, being by nature a non-entity.
