In plain words

If this world were truly real, the Self would no longer be infinite, the scriptures would lose all authority, and even the Lord would turn out to be a liar. None of these three conclusions could ever sit well with the wise.

If this world were real, [there would be] a loss of infinitude of the Self, and the non-authoritativeness of the scriptures; the Lord would also become a speaker of untruth. This threefold [consequence] is not rightly welcome to great souls.
