। । ॥ २५२ ॥
In plain words
Strip away everything the mind can mark as 'not this, not this' — not gross, not subtle, not any object at all — and what's left, self-evident, is like space itself: nothing you argue your way to, only see. So let go of this false thing you've mistaken for yourself. With a mind made utterly clear, simply knowing 'I am Brahman,' know your own Self as unbroken awareness.
Close to the Sanskrit
Having negated as unreal [this world, through the formula] 'not gross' [and so on], what is established by itself is, like space, not [further] to be reasoned about. Therefore abandon this, perceived as mere falsity, which has been grasped as one's own self. With a completely purified intellect, [knowing] 'I am Brahman' alone, know your own Self as undivided consciousness.
