In plain words
Every pot, jar, and figure ever shaped from clay is nothing but clay, through and through. In the same way, this whole universe, born of Being, made of Being, is nothing but Being itself. And since nothing at all exists apart from Being, Being is the only thing that's truly real — and that is exactly what you are. So: you are That — peaceful, stainless, the one supreme reality without a second.
Close to the Sanskrit
Every effect of clay — pots and so on — is at all times nothing but clay throughout; likewise, this entire [universe], born of Being and consisting of Being, is nothing but Being alone. Since nothing whatsoever exists apart from Being, That is real; That is the Self itself. Therefore, thou art That — the tranquil, stainless, non-dual Brahman which is supreme.
