। ॥ ३३४ ॥
In plain words
Let the ascetic set aside all pursuit of the unreal - that is what binds - and simply rest in the direct recognition, 'I myself am this.' Abiding steadily in Brahman brings its own joy, tasted firsthand, and it wipes away completely the very real-seeming suffering that ignorance alone produced.
Close to the Sanskrit
The ascetic, having abandoned pursuit of the unreal - the cause of bondage - should abide simply through the vision 'I myself am this,' seeing through the Self. Steadfast abidance in Brahman surely brings happiness through one's own direct experience, and utterly removes the manifest suffering that is the product of ignorance.
