Whoever gives themselves to what is real is set free, and comes into a greatness that is truly, eternally their own. But whoever gives themselves to what is false comes to ruin - just watch the difference between an honest person and a thief, and you will see it plainly.

One who delights in pursuing the real is liberated and attains eternal greatness that is his own. But one who delights in pursuing the false perishes - this is seen to be so, as in the case of the non-thief and the thief.
