In plain words
As long as you cling to the body and what goes with it, there is no liberation; for the liberated, identification with the body and the rest is absent. It is like sleep and waking: one is not awake while asleep, nor dreaming while awake, because the two states depend on different conditions.
Close to the Sanskrit
For one attached to the body and so forth, there is no liberation; for the liberated one, there is no notion of identification with the body and so on. There is no waking for one asleep, nor dreaming for one awake, because the two [states] rest on different conditions.
