Darkness is nothing like sunlight, and yet when the sun’s radiance comes, darkness simply dissolves into it, without a trace. In exactly that way, the whole perceived world dissolves completely into Brahman.

As darkness, though of an entirely different nature, dissolves into the light of the sun, so too the entire perceived world dissolves completely into Brahman.
